This large landscape was painted for a customer in Utah. Her request was a lush Eastern Garden. Having just visited Montpelier in Orange Virginia, I chose to use their garden as a subject of the painting. I have hidden little birds and mouths among the foliage some of the flowers represented are from my garden.
